Providence is calling a RN - Clinical Education Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR.
In this position, you will:
Provide support to the continuing education program for the enhancement of practice, education, administration, research and theory development.
Work on a program that is built on the varied experience and roles of Emergency Department clinical staff across PH&S Oregon.
Provide leadership and support to the implementation of Oregon Region Emergency Department goals to ensure staff competence, continued professional advancement, patient safety, and the achievement of patient care outcomes across the continuum.
Manage a program designed to educate nurses who are new to the Emergency Department as well as provides leadership to departmental initiatives.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of Oregon.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
3 years of clinical experience in Emergency nursing
Previous demonstrated experience with presenting to various audiences.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters degree in nursing
5 years of nursing experience
National Certification: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN)
