Providence Health & Services RN - House Supervisor in Milwaukie, Oregon
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse - House Supervisor (0.9 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR. We have 2 positions, one will work primarily night shift and the other will be variable shifts.
In this position, you will:
Be accountable for the provision and quality of nursing services at the facility level for a defined shift.
Consistently focus on patient and family centered care and high reliability principles.
Promote an evidence-based practice within a context of constant change in patient volume, acuity, and available resources.
Serve as the primary leader in ensuring effective and efficient patient flow in the hospital.
Build collaborative relationships with other's Health System and use timely and effective verbal and written communication approaches.
Constructively lead through organizational change.
Demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning and contemporary professional nursing standards and skills.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current Oregon Registered Nursing (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months
5 years of experience in nursing with progressive leadership roles
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or master's degree in related field
